Privileged is a film by Walsh Jesuit Senior, Charlie Snow. In this compelling and moving documentary, Charlie asks the audience to question their understanding of the word “privileged” and what it means in today’s society. Through Walsh Jesuit’s Campus Ministry Labre Program, in which students provide necessities and build relationships with Akron’s homeless community, Charlie gives the audience a view of life that veers widely from those of his peers within the confines of Walsh Jesuit. This juxtaposition becomes the crux of the film. Privileged has vividly contrasted two sides of life within a mile of each other that will make you question the title’s definition in the most profound way.
